The human footprint is a quantitative measurement of humanity’s impact on the Earth’s land surfaces.

A carbon footprint is "the total set of GHG (greenhouse gas) emissions caused directly and indirectly by an individual, organization, event or product".

Can the artist footprint be a quantitive measurement, directly or indirectly of the individual or collective artists artworks’ impact on humans?

In researching an artist’s markmaking, the individual emission of ideas, mediums, and strokes, resulting in an artwork; the conclusion is an optimistic, invitationfor the viewer to engage, interact, create dialogue and thereby stimulate a postive environment.

'City and Sea'

City and Sea: series I is a limited edition of porcelain brooches. Following on from the 2008 range 'Looking for Purity' I continue to use Southern Ice porcelain because of its intense whiteness and fineness in depicting detail.

The brooches of 'City and Sea' reflect beachside contemporary architecture and organic natural forms washed upon the shores.

Each brooch individually boxed $60.00.
