Some of the answers: a slinky RED satin dress. Definitely RED sports car. RED hair. RED shoes- um high heels. RED finger nails.

Menstruation, sorry but that's what I thought of. Periods. RED lingerie. I don't like RED, but now I am putting touches of it in my house. Anything, I love it. a colour of strentgh. RED lipstick.

TEATIME 2006 -  The Duchess of Bedford is credited with inventing afternoon tea about 1840. My ancestors emigrated to Australia in the late 1840's bringing with them traditions from the "Mother Country".Although transition into a new life in Australia offered far reaching experiences and investigations, formed traditions were passed onto the next generations. Within my family, from mother to daughter the pleasure of enjoying each others company over a "cuppa" continues to enrich our lives. During teatime we chat, discuss, inform, plan and grow.Using my Aunty Nell's tea trolley, I have included the names of my female ancestors, my generation and the next two generations of females in my family.Their birth years and names reflect the influential history of my female line.

'Winter Tree' 2002

'In a well of Creativity’ – Manningham Gallery – Doncaster

'Nesting' 2004

Size variable. Materials: Bird's Nest, Plain Tree leaves, seeds, acrylic paint. This installation formed part of the 'Genetics' exhibition. An Exhibition of artworks by members of the Women's Art Register responding to the theme of genetics.

My interpreation of the theme is based on intoduced plants which have become the commonplace therefore dominating indigenous plants within our everyday environment. Through human intervention the created environment now is deemed to be the natural. My concerns are with humans manipulation of seeds and developments of unnatural forms, including animals and humans that will become a created 'natural' environment.

From Darkness Gods Love Pours Out

My artwork for several years now has been influenced by the diversity of people and their belief systems.I am always seeking to discover the spiritual aspect surrounding cultural and individual belief systems.'In the beginning' exhibition has given me the opportunity to create a work based on the Communion Cup from my local church.

Each month as we move through the ritual of communion I am reminded of the love that God pours out for us.God's love pouring out of darkness can be interpreted as the beginning of life as we know it or an individual's darkness where they are seeking to find light, love, progression and a new beginning. I am always interested in other people's interpretations of my work and would hope that this work stimulates a viewer's personal dialogue.
